For Machine Guns.

1,500 rounds ball ammunition for each effective gun, i.e. each gun properly manned with an efficient gun detachment.

Note: This will not be required for 4 or 5 years, there being a reserve supply of ammunition on hand.

Capitation Grant.

$25 for each man on the rolls on the 1st of January in each year, or enrolled between that date and 1st October following.

$25 for each efficient.

$20 for each Proficient. Ranks above and including that of Sergeant, out of this Capitation Grant the Commandant will be required to provide:
